Warranty
Spectr Audio, Inc. warrants Spectr branded products against malfunction due to defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. If such malfunction occurs during the specified period, the product will be repaired with new or remanufactured equivalent parts and products or replaced (at our option) without charge. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to the factory or authorized repair center. The products will be shipped back to the customer without charge.
This Limited Warranty does not apply to (1) normal wear of the exterior and cosmetic appearance; (2) malfunction resulting from operation of the product other than as specified in the product data sheet; (3) defects resulting from excess moisture, lightning or power surges; (4) malfunction resulting from misuse or abuse of the product, including accidents; (5) malfunction occurring at any time after repairs have been made to the product by anyone other than Spectr Audio, Inc. or an agent authorized by Spectr Audio, Inc. The Warranty is void if the label bearing the product serial number (if applicable) has been removed or defaced. The Limited Warranty does not apply to burned voice coils or malfunctions in cones and/or coil damage resulting from user designed enclosures or active electronics.
The original dated bill of sale needs to be presented whenever warranted repairs are required under this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty covers products purchased and used in the Continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact your local representative or Spectr Audio, Inc. regarding warranties in areas outside of the Continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT- ABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS WARRANTY.
